The SAFT project's objective is to raise awareness on the potential of the Internet and also its dangers to youths and kids. The Consortium wishes to teach children and teenagers to be responsible internet users and to diminish risk behavior in these groups. We would also like to empower parents and educators to help the children reach this goal. We wish to raise awareness in the minds of the internet industry, making them more responsible. And finally to raise the question of Awareness on national levels of discussion in the project countries. Some of the areas we are focusing on are chat, false information, adult material, exploitation, spam, popups, cyberbullying, prejudice, and marketing/advertising.
